Bolt Pattern & Fitment Basics for Dealers
The PCD patterns that dominate dealer stock — 5x112, 5x114.3, 5x120, 6x139.7 — and how to match them to vehicles.

Dealer stock lives or dies on the bolt patterns you carry. A few PCDs cover a large share of the vehicle population — knowing which ones is the fastest way to build a useful inventory.
The high-volume patterns
5x112 covers a large share of European vehicles including VW/Audi-family platforms. 5x114.3 covers a broad range of Japanese and Korean models. 5x120 is the BMW-family pattern. 6x139.7 covers a wide band of off-road pickups and SUVs.
Same PCD, different fit
Two vehicles can share a PCD but differ in center bore, offset or brake clearance. PCD is the first filter, not the last — confirm bore and offset before stocking a model for a specific vehicle.
Multi-fit vs exact fit
Multi-fit wheels (multiple PCDs in one wheel) widen coverage but add compromise on centering and offset. Exact-fit wheels are simpler to stock and easier to sell to a serious buyer.
Stock the patterns your market actually drives — then confirm bore and offset before you commit.
