Questions to Ask a Forged Wheel Supplier Before MOQ
A verification checklist for buying custom forged wheels wholesale: process, material, QC, packaging and the numbers nobody should guess.

A forged wheel order ties up capital for weeks. Before you commit to a MOQ, verify the supplier the same way you would audit a part — not with adjectives, with questions.
Material and process
Which alloy and temper are used (for example 6061-T6)? Is the wheel forged, flow-formed or cast — and can the supplier say it in writing? Forged and flow-formed are not the same process.
Fitment discipline
Are size, offset, PCD and center bore confirmed against vehicle data before production? What happens if a batch ships with a wrong PCD — replacement or rework, and who pays freight?
QC and testing
What inspection happens between forging and packing — dimension, balance, load test? Are inspection records available per order? Which certifications does the factory actually hold, with numbers?
Commercial terms
What is the real MOQ for your configuration? How is lead time calculated, and what happens on delay? Which incoterm applies, and what does the freight quote cover?
A supplier who answers these questions with numbers and records is easier to trust than one who answers with adjectives.
At ForgeAlloy we answer with our actual process: 6061-T6 forging, fitment locked before quoting, QC records per order. Send us your questions — we will answer them in writing.
